From the most Northen distillery on the mainland comes this rather good single malt.
Wolfburn distillery was first established in 1821 a short walk from the current site that was opened in 2013 (Burns Night)
This single malt has a aromatic nose thats both malty, some coastal notes as expected with a hint of peat smoke.
On the tongue a sweet and nutty flavour, a soft but preset smoke note and hints of caramel wafer, subtle sweet oak and gentle toffee notes.
