(LTP) The nose is very deep, some old style bake shop with vanilla and honey so yes this is a speyside! Its tasting like a great vintage with some orchard fruits glazed honey and raisin biscuits, a big hit on the nose keeps coming in, it’s rather unusually balanced for such an old dram.
The palate is lively rich with a hint of sweet smoke like flavours hints of tropical fruits and white chocolate truffles.
The finish is a superb as the nose and palate some hints of that sweet smouldering wood with a final hit of dry fruits with a hint of syrup.
A superb dram with balance and taste like no other
