Built on the grounds of Dufftown distillery as a back up distillery but could also become a Gin distillery like one or two of todays distilleries.
Not open very long but very respected in the world of whisky for its straight forward mouth appeal.
A mild rich fruity aroma is repeated across the palate, a hint of toffee and wafers.
Some maple syrup notes come into play but the balance of the fruity tones matches the syrup with ease.
Its natural cask strength of 49.9% Vol will allow you to enjoy on its own or add a drop or two of water if you want a more subtle palate in the long summer evenings.
