Cameronbridge 30 years old (1989) – 57.9% – 70CL – Single cask
Nose: Mace, mustard seeds, and Chinese five-spice overlay – brandy snaps and golden syrup.
Taste: Full on toffee and candy floss with faint spice. Banana splits and pineapple chunks in syrup.
Finish: Softwood spice, macaroons, and caramelized onions.
(LTP) The nose has a sweetness to it that seems a lot richer than some other Grains
The palate and finish of this are superb lots of rich creamy tones with some sweet all spice, fruit loaf and honey glaze buns, a little hint of raisins and latte foam.
