390 BOTTLES IN THE WORLD
Established in 1927 with the first spirit coming off the stills in 1928. It was also home to a Single Malt distillery built with-in it’s grounds called Kinclaith 1958-1975.
The whiskies produced here are always seen as high quality used in Blending some of the biggest selling brands in the world.
Single cask grains from this distillery can easily be mistaken for malts when we hold blind tastings just as we have done with the London Tasting Panels (LTP). They said “A very smooth dram that will be hard to beat”
NOSE: vanilla pods, earthy, mustiness, dunnage, cream cheese, butter scotch.
LTP: Wow the creamy nose is amazing! It’s like fresh cream cakes with white chocolate and fresh baked custard tarts.
PALATE: hard boil sweets, biscuity, honey oats, nutty, caramac.
LTP: Absolutely stunning so smooth it’s almost impossible to put this dram down. Think of the most elegant smooth taste you can then double it!!
FINISH: shortbread, vanilla ice cream, fruit pastil.
LTP: A legendary whisky with creamy smooth vanilla cinnamon and whipped Cornish cream over waffles and maple syrup! Just about perfect
